A prestigious and well-established Events Venue, Restaurant, and Spa situated in the Pretoria area is seeking an experienced and passionate couple to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and future growth of our guest house, restaurant, and events facilities.
About the Venue:
- Two events venues (one accommodates up to 200 guests, the other up to 30 guests)
- Restaurant capacity: up to 40 guests
- Guest house accommodation: up to 10 guests across suites
We’re looking for a dynamic couple who:
- Have proven experience in hospitality and event management
- Work effectively as a team to oversee maintenance, administration, operations, and marketing support
- Have proven experience in restaurant management and event coordination
- Possess strong skills in stock management, purchasing, and daily cost/stock reporting
- Demonstrate leadership, team management, and customer relations excellence
- Have experience with administrative systems such as Semper and NightsBridge
- Are fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English with outstanding communication abilities
- Hold valid driver’s licenses
Key Responsibilities:
- Full management of the restaurant, event venues, and guest accommodation (Excludes spa)
- Handle all administrative duties, including scheduling, record keeping, and reporting
- Oversee all client liaison, from event planning to final quotations and coordination
- Lead the restaurant team to ensure exceptional dining experiences
- Support and collaborate closely with the chef and restaurant staff
- Conduct regular stock takes, manage inventory, and optimise food and beverage costs
- Drive and implement new marketing initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team
- Manage, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service standards
- Uphold strict hygiene and health compliance
- Take responsibility for the maintenance of all facilities, including the venues, guest house, and restaurant
